Hillbilly Rally, 2001
9/14 - 9/16 2001

Here we are at last, 8 hours and 20 minutes from our house to this sign with Alex in the sidecar.

This will be our home for the next two days in Pineville, Missouri.

Alex chilling after the long ride. Shortly he will make friends with two girls about 10 and 11 years old and that's about the last we'll see of him.

It's nice to be surrounded by bikes and tents again.

There were a lot of trailers pulled there by bikes, some pop-up tents and some just cargo carriers.

I think that is what we will try to do next, get a cargo trailer. We're just carrying more and more stuff especially with Alex.

Rose and Alex did some fishing. They probably caught a bunch more larger fish but this is the one they took a picture of.

We were in Bentonville, Arkansas, when a gang of these went by. We followed them about 10 miles until they stopped for a cookie break.

They were 15 or so mid-50's Cushman scooters, most with updated engines, that these folks fix up and ride around. A fun bunch. We turned them on to the Who movie about the Mods and the Rockers, Quadraphelia.
