Here we are at last, 8 hours and 20 minutes from our house to this sign with Alex in the sidecar. |
This will be our home for the next two days in Pineville, Missouri. |
Alex chilling after the long ride. Shortly he will make friends with two girls about 10 and 11 years old and that's about the last we'll see of him. |
It's nice to be surrounded by bikes and tents again. |
There were a lot of trailers pulled there by bikes, some pop-up tents and some just cargo carriers. |
I think that is what we will try to do next, get a cargo trailer. We're just carrying more and more stuff especially with Alex. |
Rose and Alex did some fishing. They probably caught a bunch more larger fish but this is the one they took a picture of. |
We were in Bentonville, Arkansas, when a gang of these went by. We followed them about 10 miles until they stopped for a cookie break. |
They were 15 or so mid-50's Cushman scooters, most with updated engines, that these folks fix up and ride around. A fun bunch. We turned them on to the Who movie about the Mods and the Rockers, Quadraphelia. |
